As an SME sole trader successfully trading as an independent Fine Wine Specialist for the past 8 years, I understand small business issues and directly relate to their needs. Moving to Albury in 1989, raising my two daughters in Albury, both now reside in the community and their 5 children are involved in many community sports and events. My contribution to the chamber has several aspects, being a passionate advocate supporting and sponsoring ‘Local’ Business and supporting the community. My mentorship with the YBE Young Business Edge has contributed to elevating their profile to continue their great work engaging the under 40 professional people.

Bernadette Torresan is a qualified Journalist with expertise in media and event management. She will bring to the board expertise in event management, PR, Journalism, innovative ideas, her network of local professionals and business acumen. She has represented Griffith RYLA, 2020 Vision Fundraising Committee & supported Bettys Place. Her passion to drive the local economy is evident through launching GO Local Magazine and hosting events in our region such as GO Fashion Show to help support tourism and local businesses. This passion has eared Bernadette a respected reputation within the community and she has a large following of local supporters.
Celeste is a Business Growth Strategist with Business Edge Accountants committed to working with clients to build their vision, values, goals, and strategic plans, while guiding them on how to scale and grow their business to achieve their commercial outcomes. With a background in leadership and team development, she brings a unique capacity to motivate and drive change across internal organisations. Celeste has an innate drive to see our regional communities thrive and understands that organisations such as ANCC are the foundation of which this is built upon. Celeste is active in our community and been involved in various organisations and looks to bringing her continued enthusiasm and skills to the ANCC Board.

Chloe is the Marketing and Systems Manager at DLG Aluminium & Glazing. After finishing her Bachelor of Business Management and working for a Melbourne marketing and events agency, she quickly learned that her passion is back home in the family business. Chloe loves the challenge of problem solving and has returned to DLG to assist them in moving forward in the digital age. Being in her 20’s, Chloe believes that she can offer a different perspective on the board and is keen to become a representative of local businesses.
During Di’s 23 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant in Public Practice, Di has supported businesses to succeed, supporting businesses in their taxation and business needs to achieve their strategic goals. Di has extensive knowledge and technical skill sets in finance and business areas and is professionally rewarded when implementing technological change and innovative measures to improve business processes and efficiencies. Throughout Di’s leadership roles as Director of Finance/CFO at Wodonga TAFE and Executive Leader of Business & Finance at Mercy Connect, Di has further developed her skills in corporate and financial governance, project management and business innovation. Di has been a transformational leader in assisting businesses through business change. Di is community and values focused and enjoys working in diversified cultures and values collaborating with business and community stakeholders.
As a local resident of Albury / Wodonga Kate Stevens has established herself both professionally and personally in our region. Apart of the Real Estate industry locally for over 12 years Kate offers our clients local knowledge & industry experience that assist our clients in achieving the best possible results for all their property needs. Kate's career commenced in Administration before quickly progressing through to Residential Sales & Commercial Sales & Management. In 2017 Kate achieved her career goal and is now a successful Director of PRD Real Estate Albury. Personally Kate strives to be involved positively with our local community and already has a close connection to the Chamber of Commerce with PRD Real Estate being bronze sponsors. Kate is currently the administrator of the Albury Touch Football Association, Secretary of the P & C at Glenroy Public School and along with her family are supporters of a number of other local organisations. By furthering connections with the Chamber and it’s members, Kate hopes to have a positive impact with networking and creating relationships within the business community.
Originally from Hampshire in the South of England, Nicholas moved to Albury with his wife, Alice Glachan, and sons in 2001 following a fulfilling career in the Royal Navy. Highlights of his Naval career included active service during the Falklands crisis, command of both Australian and British warships, and ultimately as the lead Staff Officer responsible for planning the crew size and composition for all “future ship” projects. From 2007 until early 2019 Nicholas and Alice owned the Beacon Lighting – Albury Franchise, in which the entire family worked. Prior to Beacon, Nicholas was on the staff of the Hon Sussan Ley MP, Federal Member for Farrer and has also worked as a contractor to DSTO (Defence Science and Technology Organisation). Nicholas gained a BSc (hons) in Systems and Management from the City University (London) as a junior Naval Officer and looks forward to the opportunity to contribute to the strength of the region’s business organisations.
Rebecca is a problem solver, she is motivated and self-disciplined. Both at work and in her personal endeavours. Rebecca owns and manages BRIE Corporate, where she helps businesses make a statement by supplying fashionable and practical uniforms to a range of industries both regionally and Australia wide. She is community minded, currently the Riverina and Far West manager for Share the Dignity and committee member for Cancer Council Stars of the Border. Rebecca is a 38 year old fashion designer and mother of 2 and brings almost 20 years of knowledge and experience working alongside many Albury Wodonga businesses.
