Like many businesses across Australia, and our region of course, Enzed Albury has had to respond to the challenges of COVID and its downstream (excuse the pun) impact of the border closure.
Their response has been a rolling one including safety plans, working closely with staff and registering as a COVID safe business.
At times it has been a rollercoaster ride but with the appropriate planning and systems in place Enzed Albury is weathering the storm.
“The border closure was a real challenge for us, in fact it was our quietest few days in about three years” Henk van de Ven of Enzed Albury said.
“On the bright side in the lead up to the border closure our sales were up slightly, enough to put on a new staff member – I don’t think too many businesses would have done that except maybe Bunnings” Henk added.
Enzed will continue to seek good advice and remain flexible as it continues on the business as usual path.
