The Chamber and Border Trust are delighted to announce the inaugural Albury Northside Chamber of Commerce Good for Business l Good for Community grant, which will provide opportunities to encourage emerging young business leaders to continue to live, work or study in the region.
Albury Northside Chamber of Commerce’s Business Manager, Kathie Heyman, said that the grants are designed to provide opportunities for emerging leaders who wish to develop their skills and opportunities through:
- Workplace Training
- Leadership Programs
“We recognise we have a fantastic pool of young professional and emerging leaders in the region who may need just a small hand-up to help them take their professional life or studies to the next level”, she said. “Our business members are committed to supporting the local community and to demonstrate real leadership within a sector they are passionate about, and the establishment of this grant through Border Trust is another way we can help them achieve their goals”.
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must be current residents of Albury Wodonga, aged between 18-35 years. Applications are welcome from young business professionals or 3rd/4th year students who currently attend University or TAFE who are able to show they have a passion and vision for their chosen industry.
The maximum amount for an individual grant is $2,000.
