Meet the team
Albury Northside Chamber is the leading, most progressive Chamber in regional NSW. We have a passionate and enthusiastic team who are dedicated to providing you with opportunities to grow your business. Check us out below 😉
Kathie Heyman – General Manager
Kathie’s role is the conductor of all things Chamber. Her strategic foresight, development and direction ensure the Chamber is always at the forefront on new and innovative ways to support and inform members.
She brings with her 20 years as a small business person (if you are looking to install a skylight or clean a pool give her a call) consultant and manager of large multi-layer outdoor events including a short stint at Deni Ute Muster. Feeling a little bit bored she recently completed a Master of Business Administration.
Outside of work hours Kathie will be spending time at Bunning's fulfilling her renovating addiction, running up mountains (and sliding down them), riding her mountain bike or getting her chill on ‘namastay-ing’ at yoga or her favourite coffee spot.
Carrick Gill-Vallance – Business Development Manager (Legend)
Carrick is a bright and enthusiastic developer of business with a passion for productivity. Having worked with Chamber for a whopping 6 years, Carrick is a wealth of information on the region’s business happenings, who’s who, and ways to support and grow business. His strategic thinking and communication skills ensure local businesses are in good hands. Carrick brings with him extensive Brand Development experience after spending 10 years with international surf/action sport labels prior to Chamber.
If you need a tour of the Albury-Wodonga businesses landscape, or the current economic climate, Carrick is your guide! If you have a challenge in your business or industry, or an idea that the world needs to know, or you just want to share a ‘dad joke’ with him – he’s your guy.
Vera Vaskovic – Membership Engagement BA (PR)
Vera welcomes you with her bubbly and warm charm. She is the first stop for members about membership, its benefits and connections. Vera is here to make your membership journey a beneficial and valuable one by connecting you with opportunities, supporting you and marketing and promoting your business and ideas.
Vera joined the team 3 years ago with a Bachelor of Communication. You may also see Vera before the sun comes up at the gym, or enjoying a coffee and slice of cake on a Sunday with friends.
Megan Cullen – Business Development BA (Edu), AD (Design)
Megan enjoys designing and creative problem-solving. Bringing people, fun and energy to the Albury CBD is central to Megan’s role. She is always up for a chat about innovative and creative ways to promote the amazing businesses in the CBD.
Megan has spent 10 years in the community sector developing partnerships. More recently she has provided graphic design and marketing for local and international businesses. During Winter, you are likely to find her on the slopes of Falls attempting to keep up with her much faster snow buddies.
Jeremy Lovell – Digital IT and Events (Legend)
Jeremy is a whizz at all things digital. He's the team's go-to-guy when it comes to website, social media, and anything “techy”. Jeremy is also key to your event’s success at ChamberHUB. He works with you to layout the space and get the necessities sorted, which makes your (sometimes nerve racking) experience of hosting an event, seamless and fun.
Jeremy comes from Newcastle, while he misses the beach a lot 🌊, he says; "the cosy atmosphere of Albury makes up for it".
Tracey Basham - AW Business Awards Coordinator
I'm lucky enough to work with both Albury Northside Chamber and Business Wodonga to coordinate the Business Awards here in Albury Wodonga.
I am available two days a week (Thursday & Friday) to ensure the success of this premium event for businesses on the border. If you are interested in nominating, becoming a sponsor or would like to know more about the event feel free to email me firstname.lastname@example.org
